For me, the concept of "there" isn't really a place, but a direction I actively work towards. It is always changing, much like a living creature.
A few years ago, while I was in junior college, doing art professionally was a lofty, mythical dream. Now that I'm doing art professionally, "there" has evolved into bigger aspirations and dreams.
Throughout phases of my life, "there" was something that I could never grasp properly. When people ask me "what do you wanna do?", or "what's your dream job?", or "where do you see yourself in a few years?", I struggle to answer those questions. The only thing i'm sure of is that hard work pays off, and the grass is indeed greener where you water it.
As such, my "there" is a mythical grass creature, something that I don't think I'll ever fully grasp. It's constantly changing, growing, as I progress, work harder, and continue to water it with one project after another.
